He who has the most toys Wins!…..I think NOT!…He who has the most integrity wins in my book….What is integrity?…I don’t know how Webster’s defines it, but to me it means truly walking your talk, being the real authentic you, and as a result people see you as real, trustworthy and respectable.
I have been thinking a lot about how much I have evolved personally over the years. I could chalk it up to age, or finally growing up or I should say “WAKING UP” to what truly matters….I remember a time where “Keeping up with The Jones’s” was the reality show that I had a starring role in. (Who the hell are “The Jones’s” anyway?…).
I had to know what the celebs were doing and what happened to Sharon and Nick on “The Hung and The Breastless.”….Boy have I evolved!…It kind of humors me at how absurd it all seems now. It is so foreign to my current reality which now consists of what myself, my friends and loved ones are all about. Authenticity and Congruency gave way to my former life of complacency and the status quo. I replaced the tabloid trash with books that fill my mind, body and spirit with vital nutrition that make me look at the world from eyes of love rather than superficiality. I learned to put honey on my own boo boos and stop looking for the salve outside of myself. I evolved my consciousness and in doing so, realized how important it is for me to leave behind my own legacy. Like Marilyn Monroe, or any other famous celebrity in history….We all have the opportunity to leave our mark. So here I am at this point in my life where I ask myself….If I left Gods Green Earth tomorrow, how would I be remembered?…. I am finally confident that it will be much more than, “She LOVED reading People Magazine and watching Entertainment Tonight and had more Coach purses than Nordstrom’s and Macy’s combined.
The way of the spirit leads us away from all that no longer serves if we are willing to follow. The trade off is more rewarding than any of those former things that used to hold such importance. Who needs Entertainment Tonight when you can have Entertainment all day in seeing the beauty in every living thing. Life is beautiful and amazing and we are all stars of our own hit show. Celebrities in our own right with the power and capability of living and leaving behind the highest and best versions of ourselves. I am confident knowing that the legacy I’m living and leaving will be that I lived, loved and appreciated every facet of life and truly represent what it means to be “High on Life.”
What do you want your legacy to be?….Who do you have to become in order to do that? Are you living that legacy now?….
Be Legendary and LIVE Like You Were Dying,
Your “High on Life” Coach
